Julio Loaiza - Director of Technical Services

True Leaf Farms in San Juan Bautista, California has hired Julio Loaiza as Director of Technical Services.  Dr. Loaiza is in charge of Quality Assurance, R&D and Food Safety.  Dr. Loaiza holds a BS in Biochemical Engineering (Food Emphasis) from University of Sinaloa, Mexico, and A PhD. in Food Biochemistry, with research focused in Postharvest Physiology and Handling of Fruits and Vegetables from the University of California, Davis. 
Dr. Loaiza, who worked previously for Mann Packing Co., Salinas, as senior research scientist, and is in charge of quality assurance, research and development, and food safety.
He joined True Leaf in November and will work out of True Leaf Farms’ processing facilities in San Juan Bautista, CA and Yuma, AZ.
